Barbara McLaughlin, R.N.  – Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding B. McLaughlin Associates, Inc. (BMA) in 1993, Barbara consulted with multiple clients including Dupont/HEM Research, Therakos, Inc., and US Bioscience, among others.  Barbara has initiated and managed clinical protocols in the pharmaceutical industry where she held multiple positions in Clinical Research Management at SmithKline Consumer Products, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Fujisawa USA, Inc., and Cephalon, Inc. 

During her career, Barbara has focused her work in the following areas of concentration:  Oncology, Amyotrophic Laterial Sclerosis, Narcolepsy, Peripheral Neuropathy, Post-Polio Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Scleroderma, Human Immunodeficiency Virus, and Liver Transplantation.

In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts.
